A Night at the Metropolitan Museum with Andrew Rannels and Mikhail Baryshnikov

The Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is said to date back to 15 B.C., but on the night of April 16 the ancient Egyptian sanctuary was the setting for an event that celebrated the future more than the past. The National YoungArts Foundation held its fourth annual gala at the site, gathering more than 220 guests including Mikhail Baryshnikov, Phylicia Rashad, and Andrew Rannells to celebrate the organization’s award winners from across 10 different artistic disciplines. The evening was chaired by Sarah Arison, Gillian Hearst, and Sandra Tamer, along with honorary co-chair Agnes Gund, and presented by Baccarat, and raised $800,000 for the cause.
