A Night of Humor and History
On December 1, the American Museum of Natural History hosted its annual gala in New York City. The evening, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, kicked off with a red carpet and cocktails before guests—including Steve Martin, Jenna Lyons, Lorne Michaels, Colin Jost, and Kenan Thompson—were treated to remarks from Fallon, a dinner created by Marcus Samuelsson, a live auction (including tickets to a taping of Saturday Night Live) conducted by Sara Friedlander of Christie’s, and a performance by Brandi Carlile. The event raised more than $2.5 million for the museum's programming.
