A gem from last year's South by Southwest film festival is preparing to hit theaters this month and comes with high endorsement from industry stars like Stephen King and Kevin Smith.

Late Night with the Devil from Cameron and Colin Cairnes takes place during a live television broadcast in 1977 that goes horribly wrong and unleashes evil into the nation's living rooms.

The first trailer has just landed, featuring the cast made up of David Dastmalchian, Laura Gordon, Ian Bliss and more.

Across the two-minute trailer, we witness one late-night talk show turn sour, horrifying a nation in real time.

Following its 2023 festival run, Late Night with the Devil sits at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics calling it a "fusion of Network and Rosemary's Baby" with "a riveting performance by Dastmalchian".

Stephen King took to Twitter to praise the film, saying, "It's absolutely brilliant. I couldn't take my eyes off it. Your results may vary, as they say, but I urge you to watch it when you can."

Well, you can finally feast your eyes on it when it lands in theaters on March 22, ahead of its release on Shudder.
