Get your late-night chicken finger fix at new Raising Cane's, open until 1 a.m. on weekends
If you're a fan of Raising Cane's but found their current location - sharing space with Panda Express just off the Strip - less than ideal, you're in luck.
Raising Cane's, the unlikely success from Louisiana that only sells one thing − chicken fingers − is opening its newest location in Knoxville on Sunday, May 5.
“We’re closing our doors at the (original) campus location and are excited to continue serving just across the street at our new restaurant," a Raising Cane's representative told Knox News.
The new Raising Cane's is at 1830 Cumberland Ave., and will be the brand's fifth restaurant in Tennessee. Befitting its location, the new restaurant features a Vols orange and white checkerboard table and graphics highlighting University of Tennessee history.
And while the current location closes at 10 p.m. every day, the new restaurant will stay open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Here's how Raising Cane’s will celebrate its opening day:
A drawing to award 20 customers (age 13 and older) free Cane’s for a year. Entries will be accepted 7-8 a.m. May 5, with the drawing taking place at 9:35 a.m. Customers must be present to win.
The first 100 customers to purchase a combo will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a free box combo on their return visit.
The West High School Cheer Team will entertain the crowd 8:30-10 a.m. Doors officially open at 10 a.m.
Raising Cane’s will present donations to the East Tennessee Children's Hospital and the Young Williams Animal Shelter.
