Nigerian woman interviews 90 people in 55 hours for world record

April 25 (UPI) -- A Nigerian woman broke a world record for the longest interviewing marathon after hosting 90 people over 55 hours, 24 seconds.

Clara Chizoba Kronborg hosts a talk show on YouTube called "Women's World Show." She beat the previous record holder, Rob Oliver, who had a time of 37 hours, 44 minutes in 2022.

The interview marathon included conversations with people from various backgrounds speaking about how they achieved success in their respective fields as politicians, business owners, content creators and more.

"This record attempt was about bringing together diverse individuals, sharing their inspiring narratives and forging meaningful connections on a global scale," Kronborg told Guinness World Records. "I am committed to amplifying voices, particularly those of hardworking women, and using their stories to inspire others facing similar challenges."

Kronborg became interested in the topic of success while growing up in relative poverty in Nigeria.

Kronborg conducted the interviews on a docked yacht in Marbella, Spain. She was allowed a 5-minute break every hour. Challenges she faced included tending to a "very hoarse and rusty" voice by drinking lots of water and wearing adult diapers. She also experienced neck and back pain, sleepiness and "intense menstrual cramps."

"Recalling everything I went through physically, mentally, financially, emotionally -- it feels so unreal," Kronborg said of her record.
