Ever since actress, comedian and television host Niecy Nash graced our television screens, as she made her acting debut in the 1995 film “Boys on the Side,” the world has been in awe of her star power. From guest starring in hit series like “Girlfriends” and “ER” to becoming the leading lady in fan-favorite shows like “Claws” and “The Rookie,” this California native has worked her way to the top of the Hollywood latter.
The 52-year-old’s infectious personality can also be seen in her fashion choices, which include a multitude of vibrant dresses and bold silhouettes. Much of that is thanks to Los Angeles-based styling duo Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, who superintended multitudinous ensembles for the “Dahmer” superstar.

The “Reno 911” actress arrived at the 2008 BET Awards wearing a pink halter minidress featuring a tie around the neck and ruching at the bottom. Nash accessorized with a silver clutch and bracelet. On her feet was a pair of embellished strappy sandals that elevated her look by at least 3 inches.
For the 42nd NAACP Image Awards in 2011, Nash slipped on a long sleeve floor-length shimmering gown that fell off her shoulders, offering up a classic neckline. To highlight the dress, she wore her hair in a modish pinup style with dangling earrings and soft makeup. The metallic sequin material draped the red carpet effortlessly.
When the “Claws” star was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018, she dressed in an ultra-modern dress and open-toe stiletto pumps. The white-hued midi dress paired beautifully with the metallic embellishments in her footwear. Nash effortlessly channeled Marilyn Monroe as she accepted one of the industry’s most celebrated accolades.
The California native made an astonishing arrival at the 2019 Emmys wearing a custom Christian Siriano design with a plunging neckline and thin spaghetti straps. The glistening color of the dress was made more striking with the coordinating turban and clutch. Her soft and subtle glam continued to highlight the beauty of this top-tier getup.
In 2022, Nash redefined the term “ravished in red” for the annual Women in Hollywood event hosted by Glamour Magazine. She got dolled up in a ruby-red velvet number from Redemption and strapped into a pair of open-toe shoes featuring crystal embellishments spanning from the angle strap to the toe strap. Her metallic accessories brought the look to completion.
Nash posed next to her wife, Jessica Betts, in a gown designed by Anthony Elle for the 2021 Critic’s Choice Awards. The multi-hyphenate star’s gown called attention to the contrasting pink, structurally architected jacket that accompanied the strapless gown. The drama of the jacket spotlighted the magnificence of the mermaid hem. Nash’s sweetheart also came dressed to impress in a black and white suit, black loafers, and a matching scarf.
Most recently, the Emmy-winning actress sparkled at the 2023 Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills. The “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” actress looked to styling duo Wayman & Micah for the occasion so they styled her in a custom Dolce & Gabbana burgundy ensemble. The intricate crystal-embellished paneling and a square neckline were a dream pair with the Irene Neuwirth jewels and her bob hairstyle.
