Nicole Scherzinger is having the time of her life with rugby player fiancé Thom Evans.
The former Pussycat Dolls leader recreated Jennifer Grey's "Be My Baby" dance from Dirty Dancing out in nature, wearing a flowing white dress with a cutout midriff, while her shirtless partner took the lead. She shared the clip on both Instagram and TikTok, getting praise from fans and friends for the adorable nod to the '80s classic.
"Yasssss! Love this 💃🏻🕺🏻," exclaimed Dancing With the Stars alum Cheryl Burke. "Stop being so cute!!! ❤️," joked Robin Thicke. "Ok this is stunning," added So You Think You Can Dance's Alex Wong.
One fan declared Scherzinger and Evans are "couple goals," while another gushed, "The cutest thing I have seen all day!!!"
Five days before the Dirty Dancing homage, Scherzinger announced her engagement. "I said yes 💍♥️," she captioned two photos, showing the exact moment her partner popped the question. The two were coincidentally camera-ready, wearing matching blue and white outfits.
According to The Mirror, Evans asked Scherzinger to marry him after dining at two Michelin-star restaurant Casa de Cha da Boa Nova in Portugal. A source who works at the restaurant told the UK tabloid, "Nicole and Thom are a lovely couple. They enjoyed their meal with us, and were very complimentary – and posed for pictures afterwards. We’re thrilled to have played a part in such an important day for them, and hope to see them again in the future."
