Not to tread on anyone's toes – I'm looking at you, Kardashian-Jenner clan – but it seems that we have a brand new hair chameleon on the block and she comes in the form of a world-renowned superstar. Presenting: Nicole Scherzinger and her head-turning, jaw-dropping, transformation-undergoing (I'm all phrased out) pixie haircut.
However, before getting into the nitty gritty details (read: photo reveal) of Nic's fresh new 'do, we must first acknowledge the lengths she has chopped in recent months. Not only did she debut a shoulder-length bob in early November but that came alongside a peroxide blonde colour change, too! Oh, and we cannot forget to mention those iconic Y2K red streaks. *Chef's kiss*.
Today, on the other hand, the Pussycat Dolls alum has debuted her shortest haircut to date with the following... and wow.
Nicole's go-to hairstylist and the genius behind this cropped creation, Dimitris Giannetos also shared a snap to his Instagram feed and even coined the look the "WINONA RYDER pixie cut". In other words, the cut was inspired by the actor's most infamous look circa 1997.
The Winona spiked pixie: inherently cool and effortlessly grungy yet as demonstrated above, absolutely timeless.
Now, if you still need a little more convincing to take the dramatic plunge (commitmentphobe? Same, girl), fear not for I am here to remind you of the popular pixie cut trend. From Lupita Nyong'o's DIY attempt to Halle Berry's peroxide number and even Rihanna's recent blonde crop, all of our favourite celebs have been jumping onto the bandwagon in 2023. After all, it's thee haircut that gives instant cheekbones.
