Despite Nicole Kidman‘s tendency to maintain a low profile, the Oscar winner recently pleased her fans by posting an intimate photo with her husband, Keith Urban, as they relaxed in a music studio. This rare moment also showcased Kidman’s natural curly hair texture, much to the pleasure of her 9.7 million Instagram followers!

On September 20th, the Big Little Lies actress, 56, uploaded a shot that showed her reading a book and sitting in a recording studio beside her country music superstar spouse, 55, who strummed on a white electric guitar. Kidman captioned her post: “Bookworm in the studio.” She wore her signature curly, strawberry blonde tresses in an effortlessly elegant high bun, with loose tendrils casually falling at the sides of her face.

The Moulin Rouge! alum donned a cozy white sweater draped over her shoulders in the snap, along with a white tank top and matching denim to complete her monochromatic look. She added white sandals and a barrette in her hair.

The "Somebody Like You" hitmaker went for a similar vibe, as he donned a taupe graphic tee, matching cuffed denim pants and comfy sneakers while jamming out.

Fans headed to Kidman's comment section to hype up her natural curls and share their love for the iconic Aussie celeb couple. "CURLS!!! YOU HAVE CURLS!!!!! I’ve missed your curls!!" one fan wrote as another added: "Adore your curls always."

Someone else chimed in, commenting: "Nice to have a husband that can serenade you in the background with music that you can read by. Perfect symbiotic relationship." One other replied: "You two are so cute together."

Kidman often rocks long, straightened locks for her red carpet appearances, but she has honored her curly texture in several instances this year (from Instagram selfies to a Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert) which many fans found to be "refreshing."

In an interview with Australian publication The Sydney Morning Herald, Kidman looked back on how she straightened her hair for years, and said: "Do I wish that I hadn't screwed up my hair by straightening it all the time? Sure."

When chatting with another outlet, Kidman recalled having naturally "beach girl" curls, and how she wants to recreate them from time to time. "I had that hair. I shouldn’t have abused my hair," she confessed. "I loved that hair. What was I thinking?"

She went on: "I’m working on getting that hair again." Fans, of course, think she can pull off both curly and straight tresses beautifully!

Kidman and Urban were also spotted out and about together several times this month in New York City— while attending a US Open match and at a breast cancer charity fundraiser. The duo met in 2005, tied the knot one year later, and have been charming fans with sweet social media tributes to each other and epic couple style moments ever since.

In 2008, they welcomed their first child, daughter Sunday Rose. Two years later, their second daughter Faith Margaret was born. (Kidman's youngest daughters have also been blessed with their mother's curly locks!)

Kidman is also mom to two older children, whom she adopted during her first marriage to Tom Cruise (they divorced in 2001). Isabella, now 30 years old, was adopted by the former couple in 1992, followed by her brother Connor, now 28, in 1995.
