Nicole Kidman Said She "Wanted 10 Kids"

Nicole Kidman is opening up about one regret in life: not having more kids. In a recent interview with Marie Claire Australia, the Big Little Lies star revealed that she "would've loved 10" kids, but that wasn't something in the cards for her.

"I wish I'd had more children but I wasn't given that choice," she said, according to Entertainment Tonight. "But that's OK. I get to mother other children. I have six nieces and nephews and I'm godmother to 12. I love mothering, I love kids and what they say."

She continued, 'They're quirky, funny, unfiltered. And then you get to see them grow and send them on their way."

Though she wishes she'd had more kids, she also shared that she's thankful for the "miracle" of meeting her husband Keith Urban, with whom she shares daughters Sunday, 13, and Faith, 10. The Undoing actress also shares two children — Bella, 28, and Connor, 26 — with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

On Wednesday's episode of Australian Talk Show The Project, Kidman revealed that she was very happy she got to relocate to Australia to film Nine Perfect Strangers, adding that her kids and husband traveled with her.

"I tell them, they're global children," she said. "They travel the world. They have friends all over the world. They complain that they have to move a lot as that is sort of their lifestyle, but we keep our family together and that's the most important thing."

She added, "They're fun girls, I look forward to what they're going to do in the future."
