Of Course Nicole Kidman’s Easter Bonnet Is Couture
The actress wore a Valentino couture headpiece that was well suited for the holiday.
Nicole Kidman is no awards season novice, and once again, she’s a true winner on tonight’s Oscar red carpet. Whether in chartreuse Christian Dior or cheery red Balenciaga, Kidman isn’t afraid to take on bold shapes and vivid color. Tonight’s turn was no different: The Big Little Lies actress (who is currently documenting this year’s Academy Awards on Vogue’s Instagram stories), stunned in a sculptural Armani Privé gown in a dazzling blue hue, true to form for a star who has never been afraid of shining bright with her color choices.
Kidman’s strapless gown featured a curvaceous lingerie-style neckline and an unapologetically romantic bow detail at the waist, a perfect take on modern femininity, which of course, she wasn’t afraid to emphasize by pulling some major poses—another signature move that we’ve come to know her for. With the dazzling cerulean ultimately taking center stage, Kidman kept her accessory game simple. She paired mirrored silver Louboutins with Harry Winston jewels, for a subtle touch of shine that didn’t steal the focus.
