Nicolas Cage Reportedly in Talks To Reprise Role as Spider-Man Noir in Live-Action Series

Nicolas Cage could take his voiceover work as Spider-Man Noir to the live-action sphere in an upcoming Spider-Man series.

As per The Ankler, Cage — who brought Spider-Man Noir to life in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse"is in serious talks" to reprise his character in the live-action series, which will play out against a backdrop of New York City in 1930s. These reports remain as rumors, however, as Sony has not commented on the casting as of writing.

This version of Peter Parker appeared in New York City during the Great Depression, and received his Spider-Man powers after getting bit by a spider that was inside the idol resembling a spider-god.

The live-action Spider-Man Noir series was first announced in February 2023 by Amazon, with sources claiming that the lead character in the show will not be Peter Parker. Further details were not revealed.
