Nicola Peltz just dyed her hair dark brown, and she looks so different
Sometimes, you get so used to seeing a celebrity rocking a certain hairstyle, hair length or hair colour that when they decide to switch things up, it actually throws you off a bit. Take the time that Nicole Scherzinger surprised us all by cutting off her signature long hair in favour of a choppy bob. Or how about Dua Lipa sporting a daring magenta hair colour, or even when Khloe Kardashian got a blunt blonde bob with 70s-style curtain bangs. Yes, it was an absolute vibe.
Basically, as somebody who has stuck to a very similar hairstyle for the last few years, it’s fair to say that these celebs are a lot braver than me. And it also gives me something to live through vicariously – I mean, minus the on-call glam squad and Hollywood Hills-side mansions.
The latest celeb to surprise us all with a hair transformation? Nicola Peltz. Just a few months after her epic three-day Palm Beach wedding to Brooklyn Beckham, the actor has switched up her signature beach blonde hair in favour of dark brown.
Posting her new look on Instagram, Nicola hinted that this (much darker) hair colour is actually closer to her natural hair, with the clever caption: “back to my roots 😉”:
And, of course, husband Brooklyn lent his support, commenting: “Sexy baby xxxxx”.
It seems Nicola is loving being a brunette, too (see, they can have just as much fun), as she then followed up with another three, yes, three Instagram posts showing her new look:
One of them was actually a post in honour of her grandmother’s 94th birthday and included pictures of the whole family cutting a cake:
