New year, same timeless manicures for Nicola Peltz-Beckham. In 2023, the style star was seen in a plethora of chic nail looks that were all just as classic as they were on-trend. "Blizzard French," pink, chrome, "Perfect French," and more were all on her mood board. However, for the months ahead, Peltz-Beckham must be going for a bolder, brighter take on minimalism than we are used to seeing from her. At least if her New Year's mani was any indication.

On the first day of the year, the actor posted an Instagram carousel showing off her sparkly, romantic New Year's celebration. Of course, she and her hubby, Brooklyn, posed for endless photos together, which gave us the chance to zoom in on her mani of choice—bright cherry red nails.

Her rendition of the classic look is similar to all the cherry red manicures we saw trending in 2023. Peltz-Beckham's nails each matched with the same medium length and almond shape. Then, they were each coated in a classic Coca-Cola red. Not the cherry mocha, Boston University, or wine red nails that also caught on this year—just a bright, classic, timeless red.

If the star's look is any indication, the color that blew up last year is only going to get stronger in the new year. It helps that makeup artist Patrick Ta previously told us that he thinks "Cherry is a main character color," adding that, "it's confident and empowered; it just makes you feel bold and chic."

If you have been seeing the nail color all over your timeline but have yet to try it out, the new year is the perfect time to delve into the sultry shade and try something new. Luckily for you, it's also super easy to recreate Peltz-Beckham's look.

First, remove any lingering polish that may be on your nails with nail polish remover. Then, cut and file your nails to the desired length before applying oil to your cuticles to soften and push them back. Then, wipe your nails clean and buff the surface for an even canvas before going in with your favorite base coat.

Then, it's time for color. Though any red you have in your collection will likely do the trick, if you're in the market for some new ones, we like CND's Scarlet Letter ($16) and Chanel's Pirate ($32). After applying two or three coats of the color, let it dry and apply your favorite top coat. After that, add a dollop of nail oil, and you will have nails that will stay in style from January 1 to December 31.
