The latest Call of Duty soldier is... Nicki Minaj?

The Queens-born rapper's new Operator bundle in Modern Warfare II and Warzone is now officially available, making her the first "self-named female Operator" in the franchise's history. And naturally, her presence is already making waves.

Nicki struts through the battlefield in six-inch heels and long, flowing pink hair, making her a stark contrast from most of the game's other characters. She also has dozens of voiceovers that Minaj recorded herself, making for some hilarious in-game moments. Naturally, footage of the Nicki character is already taking over social media.

Fans have quickly shared clips of themselves playing as Nicki, whether they're testing out her over-the-top finishing moves or rapping their own versions of her songs to accompany the gameplay:

Some of the catchphrases borrow from lyrics to her famous songs, including her features on Kanye West's "Monster," A$AP Ferg's "Plain Jane (Remix)," and Justin Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat," while others find her shouting out her "Barb Squad" fans and offering hilarious taunts.

Her pink-haired presence has injected a measure of levity into the online shooter game, although not every appears to be a fan:

They've even set clips from the game to her songs:

Nicki isn't the only diva who has appeared in video games lately. After all, Ariana Grande became a playable character in Fortnite in 2021. Still, when it comes to memes generated from the , nobody is doing it quite like the Queen.

You can purchase the Nicki Minaj Operator bundle in the in-game Call of Duty store. Modern Warfare II is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
