Nicki Minaj beats Beyoncé for craziest courtside look at NBA game

Nicki Minaj outdid herself at the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Houston Rockets in L.A. on Tuesday. It was hard to pay attention to the action on the floor when the “Anaconda” singer, seated courtside, came out of hiding in such a big way.

The 35-year-old attention-getter had her shades on for the game and blond locks piled high, surely making it hard for the person behind her to see. But it’s her outfit that deserves its own highlight reel: a cleavage-exposing leather bodysuit and chaps, fishnets, and spiked stilettos. (Yes, we said chaps.) The topper — literally — was her silver sci-fi snakeskin-pattern coat. Right now, Barbz are scrambling to copy the look, but truly it’s a tough one to touch unless you are Queen Minaj.

We have come to learn that Nicki is never boring. A few years ago at a 76ers game in Philly, she wore a pink fur jacket and leather pants, and wanted everyone to see her oversized hot-pink Chanel bag. She had on shades indoors that time too.

She also turned heads in a big way at the 2015 All-Star Game. She looked totally casual in a bedazzled bra top and sparkly heels.

So it seems that courtside at NBA games has become its own runway for the famous. Beyoncé knows it as a former owner’s wife. Remember the time she wore a $22,000 Gucci kimono to a game? One would think if you had that much to spend on a cape, then you’d be able to afford jeans that weren’t falling apart, but, hey, don’t question Bey.

While most people think of a basketball game as a place to kick back — sneaks, jeans, some sports gear (made cuter for ladies by Alyssa Milano) — celebs love showing up in the least sporty attire ever. We love Rihanna, but do you think she could run a block the length of the court in those heels?

Kendall Jenner seemed to think she was on a runway here in 2015 with those knee-high stiletto boots.

Here, Kendall’s seatmate, Bella Hadid, had on Christian Louboutins, totally one-upping her.

Though that is casual compared with Diddy making an entrance in … a long fur coat.

Kim Kardashian also wore fur to a game — and it was a weird one.

Mariah Carey, like Minaj, was feeling the excessive cleavage look in 2017. However, ya know, she had on pants.

And while Spike Lee has worn some craaazzy things, at least they are related to basketball. He’s a die-hard Knicks fan, so as nutty as it seems, it works.

As they say, to each his own, right? Though … chaps? Really, Nicki?
