Nicki Minaj and 50 Cent Just Destroyed Steve Madden with Receipts
Nicki Minaj might have called a truce with Cardi B, but now she's embroiled in an argument with Steve Madden (as in...the shoe brand) over her claim to have turned down a deal with them.
Basically, Nicki tweeted this:
Same thing with Steve Madden. Irv Gotti asked me to do that deal several times. I passed. You never hear me talking bout things like this. 🤣 she rlly thought she was doing smthn talking about turning down deals. BWAAAAAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAAA #DipVIDEO out now.

And then, for reasons that no one will ever understand, Steve Madden's official Twitter account decided to come for her, accusing her of straight-up lying:
#SteveMadden showed up late to the party 👀 #TheBeefIsOverSis

BUT WAIT! There's more! 50 Cent then came in with receipts, and-after presumably mining the internet for hours-dug up some ancient interview Steve Madden gave where he fully admitted to wanting to work with Nicki:
👀I guess he forgot he spoke on this already. Smh 🤦♂️ 🤥liar

And then Nicki stepped into the comments to accuse Steve of being an adult man who lies:
#50Cent, #NickiMinaj and #IggyAzalea wanted to clear some things up 👀 #SteveMadden

And now? Now Steve Madden's out here with a mea culpa, tweeting that Nicki is an incredible artist but that "we couldn’t work together cuz the timing wasn’t right."
.@NICKIMINAJ is an incredibly talented artist but we couldn’t work together cuz the timing wasn’t right. @iamcardib came on the scene and I had a fantastic collaboration with her, and she is also an amazing talent. I love...

both @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib music. I hope they can reach some peace - together they could probably take over the world. There is a lot of negativity out there right now, and I shouldn’t have contributed to that. -Steve
