Nick Viall Calls Zach Shallcross a "Total Dick" for His Behavior on 'The Bachelor'

Zach Shallcross spent the first couple weeks of The Bachelor getting called boring, but sentiments have changed and now some fans think he's...kinda rude. This all started when Zach was dismissive of Greer Blitzer after she tried to connect with him over having Covid during their Zoom date.

But fans have also started to accuse Zach of shutting down when his contestants start expressing their feelings—and one person who's less than impressed? That'd be former Bachelor Nick Viall.

"That’s 2 weeks in row now Zach was a total dick to one of the woman," Nick tweeted. "It’s literally all about the one on one. Zach knows that. He made Jess feel like she messed up for expressing a valid concern. #thebachelor"

Nick also added, "Zach is acting like the guy who gets mad at his girlfriend for not letting him know she wanted validation on her birthday #thebachelor."

Meanwhile, other fans had similar sentiments. As @bachtake put it, "Zach’s inability to talk through problems with these girls is such a red flag. If you’re that quick to shut down and dismiss these girls, how do you ever plan to make it through a marriage?"

FYI, Zach recently responded to criticism over how he treated Greer during their Zoom date, telling Variety, "Watching it back, I completely empathize with her. I think she was really just trying to connect and relate with me when I had Covid, and really I was just already frustrated with everything kinda, you know, going on. You know, I definitely could have delivered my sentiment in a lot more of a respectful way, in a calmer way. It was just one of those conversations that just was off. No excuse, I should have responded better, so I totally, totally, 100 percent get where she's coming from."
