Nick Michel's New Vans Collection Is A Perfect Representation of His Casual Complexity On And Off The Board

Nick Michel is quietly making an impact on the next generation of skateboarders through his timeless style and modern take on classic skateboarding. His creativity shines on and off the board making him one of the most entertaining skaters to watch right now.

This is Nick his first Vans Skateboarding footwear and apparel collection and I'd say it was worth the weight. Adding his touch to a few of Vans' most timeless silhouettes, it's just another reminder as to how tasteful this dude really is. These look sick!

This simple yet refined head-to-toe collection is inspired by Nick's bold creativity, clean style, and humble personality on and off the board. His approach to skating is always unique and imaginative, with plenty of heavy moves peppered into it all.

While these might just look like brown Old Skools, it's the subtle details that make all the difference.

Elevating the iconic Vans Old Skool, the Skate Old Skool incorporates traditional earth tones and archived sketches by Nick’s close friend, Sam Acosta, while bright pops of hand drawn checkerboard are showcased on the insole of the shoe to add just the right amount of flair. With classic style, unique graphics, and the performance benefits skateboarders demand, Nick’s collection was built to skate, but made to look good. I'd say they succeeded.

And all you Half Cab fans out there rejoice! As part of the collection, Nick also added some of his personality to this iconic Vans silhouette

Look for the collection at your local shop. Nick rips. The collection rips. Well deserved!
