Nick Jonas Says His Father Is Now Cancer-Free
Nick Jonas recently shared some very good news: his father is now cancer-free.
The "Jealous" singer recently stopped by iHeartRadio for an interview with Elvis Duran on Label Defiers. During the podcast, he shared that his dad, Kevin, Sr., "just had a journey with colon cancer and he’s cancer-free now, or on the tail end of it, all is good. Being here with him when he went in to have his tumor removed was a really special thing and really important."
Earlier in March, the Jonas brothers's father revealed he had been diagnosed with the disease. At the time, he said his sons were "shaken" by the news and rushed to be by his side for the surgery. Now it looks like he's on his way to being better.
It also appears that being able to support their father was important to the Jonas family. Nick explained that "It was a moment of pride for all of us to say, 'Alright, all that we been through, with the brothers, and Dad being a manager at one time,' to be able to be there with him, be a unit as a family, is something I think, we should be really proud of."
We're happy to hear that Kevin Sr. is doing well and is on his way to recovery. Hopefully, the Jonases have had some quality time with the family patriarch.
