Nick Jonas Responds to John Stamos's Jonas Brothers T-Shirt

Back in October 2018, actor (and also definitely my dad) John Stamos revealed himself to be a Jonas Brothers stan when he stepped out on the American Music Awards red carpet rocking a concert tour t-shirt from 2009. And while plenty of fans pointed out that it wasn't the only time that Uncle Jesse/Dr. Nicky paid homage to the beloved band, it turns out that Jo Bro stans weren’t the only ones who spotted the tribute; Nick Jonas himself definitely took notice…and his response was as perfect as you’d expect.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, March 2, Nick shared a photo of himself wearing a hoodie displaying a photo of John wearing one of the infamous Jonas Brothers shirts. “It’s your move @johnstamos,” he wrote in the caption.

So, if I’m interpreting this correctly, in order for John to raise the bar in this adorable challenge, he’ll need to wear a shirt with a photo of Nick wearing a shirt with a photo of himself wearing a shirt with the Jonas Brothers on it? This is more confusing than Inception, but I’m into it.

Nevertheless, it seems as though everyone is into this idea, including Priyanka Chopra who commented “Hahahaha” (agreed). Other fans wanted to know if Nick’s sweatshirt was for sale, with one person inquiring: “Where can I get this merch?”

Nick and John aren't just fans of one another's work; their friendship actually goes way back. They met doing Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl in 2011, where Nick portrayed Link Larkin and John was cast as Corny Collins. In 2012, Nick told MTV News that their friendship was "dynamite," adding: "We watch a lot of YouTube videos. We talk about music quite a bit.... [It's a] cool older-brother type vibe in that sense. He's everybody's Uncle Jesse."

As for Nick's recent fashion challenge, there hasn't been a response from John as of yet. Still, we’re hoping he’s getting that custom shirt made ASAP…and that all of these will eventually get added to the Jonas Brothers merch website because I need them in my closet.
