Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Are Reportedly Engaged
Could it be another quick Hollywood engagement? Reports have surfaced that Nick Jonas proposed to Priyanka Chopra just weeks after the two were first linked together as a couple.
Neither Jonas nor Chopra have commented on the reports, but according to People, the stars got engaged one week ago on Chopra’s birthday while they were in London. Jonas reportedly didn’t hold back when it came to choosing a ring, and even had a Tiffany store in New York City closed so he could privately pick the perfect rock for his proposal.
The 25-year-old singer and the Quantico star — who walked the red carpet of the 2017 Met Gala together (as friends) more than a year ago — were first linked romantically in May 2018. Although they initially kept a low profile, it wasn’t long before eagle-eyed fans started noticing some affectionate back-and-forth on social media between the two.
Then, one month ago, Jonas appeared to make things Instagram official when he posted a pic of Chopra to his stories, captioning it with a simple “Her,” alongside the heart-eyes emoji.
If the engagement rumors are true, Chopra and Jonas will be the third young couple in as many months to get ready to say I do. In June, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson capped off their whirlwind romance by getting engaged a few weeks after they started dating, and earlier in July, Justin Bieber popped the question to girlfriend Hailey Baldwin after the couple rekindled their relationship.
