Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Are Reportedly Engaged
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have been fueling engagement rumors since they were seen out and about wearing matching rings earlier in July, and now it turns out that they're reportedly engaged.
Several outlets are reporting that the two have taken their relationship to the next level. A source told People that Nick and Priyanka got engaged while in London last week celebrating her 36th birthday. The Jonas brother reportedly closed down a Tiffany store in New York City to buy the engagement ring.
"His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him," a source told People. "He’s definitely very serious about her."
Nick and Priyanka started dating at the end of May, and since then have shared plenty of romantic moments. The duo took a trip to India together, a vacation where they made things Instagram official. Nick also apparently took the Quantico actor to his cousin's wedding in Atlantic City, which likely means she got to meet a bunch of the extended Jonas family.
And Nick isn't the only Jonas brother with wedding bells in his near future. Sibling Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones icon Sophie Turner are also engaged but apparently aren't in any rush to get married.
Fans were quick to react to the news about Nick and Priyanka on social media. One person pointed out that "it comes in threes," referencing several other recent celebrity engagements: Hailey Baldwin with Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande to Pete Davidson. Others are even brainstorming what they'd love to see at a ceremony for Nick and Priyanka in terms of the entertainment.
Of course, we haven't heard anything from Nick and Priyanka themselves about the reported engagement, so it's best to take things with a grain of salt. We won't know anything for sure until they speak out on the situation. Yes they're celebrities, but if they want to celebrate on the down low, that's up to them and fans should respect that.
