Cake-cutting practice before their big day? Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated the singer’s 26th birthday in Los Angeles Sunday, September 16, in what turned out to be quite the exciting day at the ballpark.

The pair, along with a crew of their family and friends, descended upon Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, to watch the Los Angeles Angels take on the Seattle Mariners Sunday afternoon. The “Jealous” singer was also set to perform at a post-game show after the fact.

Prior to the start of the game, Jonas even got the chance to take a few practice swings at bat. He shared one image of himself intensely focused on the incoming baseball on his Instagram, captioning the action shot, “Baseball is cool. @priyankachopra.”

A source told E! News that the couple then retreated to the Legend Suites section of the stadium to watch the game. There, they affectionately smiled and chatted with one another; at one point, the source said, the 36-year-old actress began jumping up and down and leaned into her hug Jonas. She was also later spotted lovingly rubbing his hair.

Chopra shared a photo of the couple with their friends and family in the suite with the caption: “Birthday Hang. ” and yet another one, a selfie of just the two of them, with her planting a sweet kiss on Jonas’ cheek.

Then, after the game, Jonas took the stage for a 10-song set, and Angels first baseman Albert Pujols brought him a birthday cake out onto the stage. Chopra and Jonas shared a bite on stage as fans cheered for the happy couple.

“Thank you for all the birthday love,” Jonas told the crowd, according to E! News. “You all sound beautiful. I have a lot of friends and family and loved ones here tonight.”

The photogenic pair performed a traditional Roka ceremony in Mumbai, India, last month, publicly confirming rumors that they had gotten engaged in July. Jonas’s parents, Kevin and Denise Jonas, joined Chopra’s parents at the Chopra family home, as is custom, and there, the families likely exchanged gifts of sweets, dried fruit, and cash, as part of a ceremony meant to bring two families together.

Still, despite all the fanfare, don’t expect a wedding in the works anytime soon. Chopra’s mother, Madhu, told Daily News and Analysis India back in August that the couple are simply enjoying their time together at the moment.

“They haven’t decided on a wedding date yet,” she said. “It’s too soon. Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it”
