Nick Jonas Will Join The Voice As a Coach

Let's rock!

Throughout his career as a pop superstar, Nick Jonas has managed to do it all. In addition to being a member of the Jonas Brothers (you might know them), the singer has starred in a number of films, pursued a career as a solo musician, and now, he's stepping into reality television.

Aspiring singers and those who dreamed of living out Camp Rock IRL will want to prepare, because Nick is joining The Voice as a coach. As reported by CNN, Nick will start his new gig on the show's 18th season, and he already intends to secure all of the wins.

Sharing the news on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Nick expressed his thoughts on joining the cast, saying, "I am so excited about this. You're basically the first people I've told, so thank you for being a part of this special moment for me." He followed up the announcement with a video posted to Twitter, saying, "I'm hoping for a season one win for Team Nick and a chance to work with some amazing talent."

The news of Nick's new job is definitely exciting, but as People pointed out, fans will have to wait awhile for the singer's turn in the judging chair; The Voice is currently airing its 17th season. There's no word on when Nick's season will debut, but he may want to turn to the JoBros for advice in preparation: Joe was a judge on the Australian iteration of the singing series, according to CNN. Of course, Camp Rock stans also know that Nick might be OK on his own, as he was an esteemed member of the Final Jam judging panel.
