Nick Jonas’ Chaotic Coffee Order Has Us Seriously On Edge

What do Pedro Pascal and Nick Jonas have in common? Espresso, and lots of it.

By now, you've likely heard about Pascal's insanely caffeinated Starbucks order, but it appears that Nick Jonas is giving the actor a run for his money with his coffee order.

During an "8 Questions Before 8 AM" segment with Today, all three Jonas Brothers shared their go-to orders when they're grabbing coffee. The orders started off pretty mild with Joe Jonas declaring an "oat flat white" his coffee of choice. Simple yet impactful, we like it.

Kevin Jonas opted for a "hot Americano"—another fairly tame order.

But things quickly went left when Nick Jonas boldly declared an "iced Americano quad, four shots" as his coffee of choice. And the caffeine didn't stop there. He then explained that those four shots are "followed up by another two for fun." If you're doing the math, that's a grand total of six espresso shots!

As far as the exact amount of caffeine in Nick Jonas' coffee, six espresso shots amounts to 384 mg of caffeine (64 mg for each espresso shot). That much caffeine gets the singer awfully close to the 400 mg a day maximum recommended by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. At that point, side effects like insomnia, nausea, and headaches could kick in.

Note to self: Immediately decline any offer to grab coffee with Pedro Pascal or Nick Jonas.
