Nick Grimshaw says he ‘feels like a tortured poet’ after people confuse him for Taylor Swift’s ex Matty Healy

Nick Grimshaw has revealed he keeps getting mistaken for Taylor Swift’s ex-partner Matty Healy.

The radio DJ joked he “feels like a tortured poet” as people mistake him for The 1975 singer, who is the focus of Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

In a video posted to Instagram on Monday (22 April), the 39-year-old said: “I just got home and thought I'd have a bit of phone time. I have never had as many messages from friends, family members, from random people in the US that I don't know all about Taylor Swift.

“Today, never mind The Tortured Poets Department, I've been tortured. I don't know what happened but everyone seems to confuse me with Matty Healy so now I'm in this conversation.”
