Nick Cannon Responds to the Claim That He Pays $3 Million in Child Support
Nick Cannon just welcomed his 11th child into the world (hi, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon!) and just responded to speculation that he pays millions in child support.
Asked about The Sun’s recent report that he pays “nearly $3 million a year in child support,” Nick told the Neighborhood Talk (via Us Weekly) that he actually spends much more on his kids.
“I definitely spend a lot more than [$3 million] on my children annually,” he said. “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child.”
Nick and Abby De La Rosa welcomed Beautiful (who is their third child together) on November 11, and Nick posted an emotional Instagram about her arrival, writing, “A BEAUTIFUL DAY for BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN CANNON to arrive! Mommy @hiabbydelarosa I love you! You make it ALL look so easy and effortless but I am forever indebted to your tireless work of constant dedication, diligent effort, and selfless love that you give to our children and myself. Beautiful is privileged to have such a loving and spiritually inclined mother.”
He went on to add, “Your resilience and strength doesn’t go unnoticed. Watching you smile through the world’s madness and my constant craziness is so impressive. Not a day goes by that I am not filled with gratitude for all your care, words of affirmation, kindness, and inspiration. Thank you!! If I don’t say it enough! You are the definition of steadfast and virtuous and it is my continued duty to make you and our children feel valued and protected every single day! BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN, aka BZC, aka BIZZY B!
