Nick Cannon Hung Out With 7 of His Kids In One Day — & We're Exhausted Just Hearing About It

Parents of one know that no matter how much they love their child (a lot!) and no matter how much caffeine they have (ditto!), chasing them around all day is … a lot. And so our heads were spinning when we heard that Nick Cannon spent quality time with seven of his kids yesterday.

And if you’re not familiar with Cannon’s family, you might be thinking, “Well plenty of families have a lot of kids and aren’t perpetually drained.” But with Cannon, who is a dad of 11 kids (and one late son), it’s about more than just the numbers.

Because the Drumline star shares those kids with six different women. And because not all the kids have met. And even the ones who have met, don’t necessarily know they’re related. (More on that later!)

Cannon started his day yesterday on a “Daddy-daughter date” at a cafe with his daughter, Powerful Queen, who he shares with ex Brittany Bell. The 3-year-old dressed up for the special outing, wearing a poofy magenta dress and bedazzled shoes.

Soon after, the Wild N’ Out host shared a selfie with his 17-month-old son Legendary Love who he shares with girlfriend Bre Tiesi. “This dude stole my whole face!” Cannon wrote over the photo on his Instagram Story. Because, yeah, they’re basically twins.

Five more to go!

After that, Cannon shared a photo of Rise Messiah, who he also shares with ex Brittany Bell. The 15-month-old was dressed in all black with a black and white houndstooth jacket, a silver chain, and a sideways black baseball hat.

“Young Rizzy Rise full of that Drip!! Rizzed Up!!” Cannon captioned the picture.

Next up is a photo of Legendary sitting next to an orange tree with Onyx Ice, 15 months, who Cannon shares with ex Lanisha Nicole.

The proud dad then shared some videos of himself dancing with his 2-year-old twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, who he shares with ex Abby De La Rosa. The boys looked like they were having the best time being silly with their dad!

“Zion was teaching me his new dance move!!! Zilly joined in as well!” Cannon said on each video respectively.

The twins’ baby sister Beautiful Zeppelin (13 months) was there too, laughing while her dad played peek-a-boo with her and nibbled on her fingers.

Did you get that? Powerful, Legendary, Rise, Onyx, Zion, Zillion, and Beautiful.

The only Cannon kiddos who were (seemingly) missing were 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, who Cannon shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden Sagon, 6, who Cannon also shares with Bell; and Halo Marie, who Cannon shares with Alyssa Scott. Of course, Cannon and Scott son’s Zen who tragically died from a brain tumor as an infant, was not there either. Although we’re sure Cannon always feels his presence.

If you’re scrambling to keep track, don’t worry. Cannon himself has forgotten a child before — and his brother doesn’t even attempt to get the names of his nieces and nephews right.

After sharing some more sweet footage of the fun family day, Cannon shared a picture of Onyx sitting in his lap. She enjoys a bottle while he kisses her forehead. “All in a day’s work but this is all Daddy needs,” he wrote over it. (See photos from the day HERE.)

Wow. So there were seven kids and three moms. And speaking of the moms, Cannon dropped a bombshell over the summer when he admitted his kids don’t all know they’re half-siblings. At the time, he made it seem like this was the women’s decision.

“In your dream world, regardless of whether you’re romantically involved or not romantically involved with the mothers, all your children will know each other,” he said on an episode of Dr. Laura Berman’s The Language of Love podcast. “All of your children will come together, go on trips together or outings together.”

But apparently, they don’t all go on trips together. Which is partly why he pays an astronomical sum of money at Disneyland every year.

At the time (and perhaps still) his kids had never been in the same place at once, some had never met, and even those who had met didn’t necessarily know they were siblings.

“As much as that may be a wish of mine, I’ve got to respect that’s not a wish of everyone’s … Because they’re currently under their mothers’ jurisdiction, I’m trying to play by the moms’ rules.”

So now we have to wonder, was yesterday a first for anyone? The first time they met? The first time they learned about a sibling?

These stars have vulnerably shared their experiences with grieving the loss of a child.
