NFL Player Antonio Brown Faces Backlash After Posting AI Photo of Himself Kissing Taylor Swift

Swifties are criticizing former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown after he shared an AI-generated photo on social media depicting himself kissing Taylor Swift on a football field.

In the fake photo, a man who seems to be Brown in a Pittsburgh Steelers uniform stands in front of a woman who appears to be Swift wearing a light blue cheerleading-style outfit, with the two holding hands and kissing. Brown said in the caption, "what these Swifties talkin bout?"

As of writing, you can see the AI photo on Brown's X account.

Fans immediately called out Brown for the problematic photo and warned him that Swift's fans, known for their ability to come together to support the singer, would quickly respond to the post. One X (formerly Twitter) user responded to Brown, "Swifties don’t play. You still have time to delete this."

"Good luck on the other side bro," said another, as a third chimed in, "NOOOOOO YOURE COOKED." A different reply simply read, "gross man."

Since posting the photo on March 8, Brown has not commented on the snap or subsequent backlash, continuing to post on social media about a variety of topics. Neither Swift nor her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce, have shared a comment either.

This isn't the first time Swift has been subject to controversial AI-generated content, as the Grammy-winning singer was a victim of inappropriate AI pictures of herself on X in January, with the site making her name and a few terms unsearchable for a time.

Swift has been quite busy with her Eras Tour performances across the world, recently performing in Australia and Singapore before starting a two-month break.

After winning the Super Bowl for the second year in a row, Swift's boyfriend has visited her in both countries to spend time together and see her perform. The tight end now has time to relax and explore different ventures during the football offseason.
