While a polar vortex and videos of boiling water freezing in midair dominated social media feeds on the East Coast, the Los Angeles weather remained enviably cooperative, producing a pleasant evening for the second annual Learning Lab Ventures Winter Gala. Hosted by the storied Beverly Hills Hotel and sponsored by luxe fashion e-commerce company Farfetch, the event celebrated Learning Lab’s mission to provide arts to underserved communities in Los Angeles. Festivities were hosted by Rochelle Gores Fredston and Mary Alice Haney, who honored Irena and Mike Medavoy, and Elizabeth Chambers and Armie Hammer for their philanthropic feats the past year.
