Newfoundland Who Sweetly Helps Great-Grandma Get the Mail Is Stealing Hearts

He's such a good boy!

Chewy the Newfoundland is one certified Good Boy. Not only does he help walk his human sister to her school bus stop every day, but he also helps his great-grandma get around. His big body is wonderful stabilization for her, so the duo can even get the mail together without worrying about falling.

Chewy's mama posted a precious video of him and his great-grandma fetching the mail, and his viewers can't get enough. We're positively shocked that the rest of the videos on his account, @chewythenewfie, aren't going viral too!

How sweet is he? Chewy walks so gently alongside Great-Grandma, who--might we add--looks amazing at 93 years young. His help and support (literally) probably make a world of difference for her. Not only can he assist with mobility, but he can turn around any bad mood, too.

"Aww he is just a helper," noticed @lucymea5. That's so true! Whether he's hanging with his mama, his great-grandma, or any of his human siblings, he's always helping out in one way or another. He's the perfect example of why "dogs are so special," as @clarkfamily911 said. Whether they're trained as service dogs or just incredibly intuitive, a dog can do a lot more than simply provide love.

@User8538530211405 shared, "my Pit jumped on my husband sleeping barking when I fell and hit my head unconscious to get me help just in time." That's so scary--but so incredible that your dog was able to help! We hope that fur baby got a big ol' treat once you were feeling like yourself again.

There are truly so many ways dogs can make people's lives better--as we've seen--and getting the mail is only the start. We bet the love Chewy gives his great-grandma is even more precious!
