Newfoundland Believing She Gave Birth to Bunnies Is the Sweetest Thing All Week

Some people are born with the natural instincts of a mother and father. You don't even need to have children to show these instincts. It can just be part of your blood. The same goes for animals. Dogs can have these natural instincts too, even if they don't have babies of their own.

A perfect example of that comes from TikTok user @cieramartin951's dog. They found baby bunnies in their backyard and every single day this dog goes out to check up on her "babies." We're not going to tell her those bunnies aren't hers either!

We can't handle this adorableness! We love that this Newfoundland dog is so dedicated to these baby bunnies even though their real mother comes back every morning and night. This dog is a natural-born mother. We'd even trust her with our babies. LOL!

Our hearts melted when we saw the bunnies climb all over her. Not only does this dog love them, but they also clearly love her! The caption said that the bunnies hopped off and left her as an empty nester. Ugh, poor baby. She's probably so sad without them. Sounds like she could use a baby animal or puppy of her own to watch over!

The fact that this Newfoundland was so calm with these babies shouldn't come as a surprise. Newfoundlands are known as gentle giants after all. Even though they're a large dog, Newfoundlands are known to have a calm temper. They're a popular dog breed among families because of they're loyalty, protection, and affection. And based on this video, Newfoundlands can be great with any animal!
