Fashion can sometimes feel a little bit static. There’s Karl Lagerfeld, Miuccia Prada, Giorgio Armani, always influential, but is that all there is? To the untrained eye, maybe, but beyond all the names that have established themselves as fashion authorities for decades, is a new group of designers, starting their own labels or taking over old houses and modernizing them. Here are six designers whose names you should know, and are poised to become an influential force in the industry.
