Netflix Teases ‘Black Mirror’ Premiere Date & Interactive Episode for Season 5
Listen up, Black Mirror fans: We finally know when we’ll get our hands on season five of the standalone series. (Literally.)
The upcoming season of Black Mirror will premiere on Netflix this December, according to Bloomberg. Better yet, there will also be an interactive episode, where viewers will be able to make key decisions that affect the fate of the characters. (You know, similar to a “Choose Your Own Adventure” segment.)
If you’re wondering, this is Netflix’s first venture into interactivity (excluding children’s programming). However, the streaming service is currently developing a slew of projects in the same genre, and we don’t blame Black Mirror for volunteering as tribute.
Although we don’t know much about the fifth season, we can’t wait to test the waters as part of this new era of television.
