Netflix Subscribers Are Giving Their New Series 'Escaping Twin Flames' A 10/10: ‘Your Jaw Will Drop!’

Netflix’s new three-part documentary Escaping Twin Flames has fans on the edge of their seat as they learn about the inner-workings of the cult Twin Flames from former members. The story of a couple building a spiritual business to connect people to their “twin flames” sounds innocent in theory, but it took a rather sinister turn. Now, former members are sharing their story in the form of a docuseries, and fans are already obsessed.

Escaping Twin Flames was directed by Cecilia Peck, and stars former members of the cult. It released on Nov. 8th and is already at #3 in TV Shows Today on Netflix. Fans are calling it “wild,” “crazy,” “actually insane,” and a “must watch” on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Director Cecilia Peck goes deep into the Twin Flames Universe, which was founded by Jeff and Shaleia Divine in 2017. The couple built a business on the concept of "twin flames" which is the idea that each person is divinely connected to another, and they must find one another to reach enlightenment. The documentary discusses the creation of the cult and why people were so enticed to join.

Jeff and Shaleia offered the "Twin Flame Ascension Course," a class for the discussion of and coaching on finding your twin flame. The group began to expand, and the documentary reveals the abuse that members faced, including forced gender transition, alienation from family members, and exercises to gaslight members into believing it was their fault if their twin flame did not want to be with them. Many members became the subject of restraining orders, and one woman even went to jail.

Now, former members are getting the chance to speak on their experiences, and fans can't get enough.
