Netflix just made my whoooole quarantine. The streaming site has confirmed rumors that they will be releasing a new episode of Tiger King later this week (!!!). Do you hear that? It's the sound of me clearing my already completely open schedule.

The episode will break from the documentary format used in the series and will instead run as a hosted "aftershow" special. Fans will be treated to interviews with the most famous cast members for an even closer look at what life was really like at the G.W. Zoo. Here's everything we know about the new episode, The Tiger King and I.

Who will be in it?

Comedian Joel McHale is set to host the reunion show, which will include "brand new interviews" with the original cast. Some of Joe Exotic's closest friends, enemies, and former colleagues, as well as his ex-husband, will take part and share how their lives have changed since they filmed the show five years ago.

"I talked to a lot of people involved in the project – Jeff and Lauren Lowe, Saff, Erik Cowie, John Finlay, John Reinke, and Rick Kirkham – to see what’s happened in their lives since the release of the series," Joel explained in Netflix's promo clip. "It’s eye-opening and hopefully funny."

When does it air?

The eighth installment is set to hit screens on Sunday, April 12. Fans can watch The Tiger King and I exclusively on Netflix.

Since Joe Exotic is currently in prison, it seems unlikely that the Tiger King himself will make an appearance. But as we saw in the show, Joe has done some interviews from prison, so it's not not possible.

What about Carole Baskin?

It probably goes without saying that Carole Baskin is not pleased with the makers of Tiger King – you know, since millions of people are now accusing her of murdering her late husband. Carole herself even denounced Netflix in a blog post on the Big Cat Rescue website, called "Refuting Netflix Tiger King."

"[Tiger King] has a segment devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don in 1997. The series presents this without any regard for the truth or in most cases even giving me an opportunity before publication to rebut the absurd claims," Carole wrote. "They did not care about truth. The unsavory lies are better for getting viewers."

Judging by that statement, it seems that Carole will have no part in the reunion episode.
