Netflix Released Its Halloween Lineup and We Are So Excited for Spooky Season
Believe it or not, Halloween is almost here. Which means it's time to start planning your costumes, decorating your house, and stocking up on the best Halloween candy. But a mountain of sweets isn't the only thing to look forward to this year. Netflix just announced "Netflix and Chills," a new Halloween lineup full of original scary movies and TV shows and it's getting us so excited for spooky season.
The best part is, you can start watching right now. The first batch of features was already released (appropriately) on Friday the 13th, and the streaming service will continue to make new ones available every week leading up to October 31. Here's everything you need to know.
How many original movies and TV shows will there be?
Netflix is not skimping on original content this year, according to People. All told, you can expect to see 15 new movies and TV shows from September 13 to October 25 — definitely enough to keep you occupied until Halloween!
What else can we expect to see?
Along with a slew of originals, Netflix is also throwing in some popular horror flicks and series, like Scream 2 and American Horror Story: Apocalypse. While there's plenty of creepy content to keep you up at night, there are also some kid-friendly titles the whole family can enjoy, too.
