Netflix Just Unexpectedly Dropped ‘Manifest’ Season 3 & It’s Already the #1 Show

Manifest continues to take us on an emotional rollercoaster. Netflix just unexpectedly dropped all of season three on the streaming platform—and we never even got a warning.

The latest installment—which we recently learned would be its last—was released on Saturday, August 21. And after just three short days, the series has already landed the top spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched shows. We aren’t totally surprised, considering a similar thing happened when it was announced that the show had been canceled by NBC.

The latest season features 13 must-see episodes, with each lasting about 45 minutes. So, there’s plenty of content to binge on.

When the cancellation news was announced back in June, Manifest creator Jeff Rake assured disappointed fans that he was trying to find a new home for future installments.

“My dear Manifesters, I’m devastated by NBC’s decision to cancel us,” he wrote on Twitter. “That we’ve been shut down in the middle is a gut punch to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, cast, and crew. #savemanifest.”

He followed up with another message after reading all of the potential-season four speculation, writing, “Lots of speculation out there. No comment. Other than, if the impossible happens and the dead rise again, it’s because of YOU.”

At least we have over nine hours of a season three to watch while we wait for more answers.

Thank you for continuing to keep us on our toes, Netflix.
