Netflix Developing 'My Hero Academia' Live-Action Film

Following early word of a live-action adaptation, Netflix has now officially announced that it is developing a film centered around My Hero Academia. In an announcement post, the streaming platform shared that it is partnering up with Legendary Entertainment on the project.
The live-action adaptation of the manga/anime will be directed and executive produced by Shinsuke Sato (Alice in Borderland) and written by Obi-Wan Kenobi's Joby Harold. Toho will be responsible for distributing the film in Japanese theaters.
