Netflix’s New #6 Show Will Blow Your Mind, Episode After Episode

If you love diving into the wacky world of alternate universes and conspiracy theories, then this widely popular anthology series is bound to blow your mind (in the best way possible).

Introducing Love, Death & Robots, a part animation, part live-action adult series that recently claimed the number six spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched shows. (It’s currently ranked behind must-watch titles like The Upshaws and Jupiter’s Legacy.)

Love, Death & Robots is a re-imagination of the 1981 sci-fi film Heavy Metal, doubling as a collection of short stories that span several genres (like science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy). Each episode focuses on a different subject, ranging from alternate histories to post-apocalyptic worlds that are being run by robots.

According to the official Netflix description, “Terrifying creatures, wicked surprises and dark comedy converge in this NSFW anthology of animated stories presented by Tim Miller and David Fincher.”

Since Love, Death & Robots is an anthology series, the episodes feature a wide range of actors. For example, the season one cast consists of celebs like Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Gary Cole, Chris Parnell, Omid Abtahi, John DiMaggio, Christine Adams, Josh Brener, Emily O’Brien, Elaine Tan, Aaron Himelstein, Samira Wiley and Topher Grace.

On the other hand, season two stars Michael B. Jordan, Nancy Linari, Joe Dempsie, Ike Amadi, Nolan North, Fred Tatasciore, Peter Franzén, Jennifer Hale, Sebastian Croft, Brian Keene, Steven Pacey, Scott Whyte and Zita Hanrot.

Love, Death & Robots is produced by Tim Miller (Deadpool), Joshua Donen (Gone Girl), David Fincher (Se7en) and Jennifer Miller (The Commissioning).

Don’t forget the popcorn.
