Nestlé Is Recalling Some Cookie Dough Because of Possible Rubber Contamination

Nestlé Toll House is voluntarily recalling certain refrigerated Nestlé Toll House Cookie Dough products because of the potential presence of food-grade rubber pieces.

“We have identified the source of the rubber and have already fixed the issue,” said the company in a press release.

Nestlé issued the recall as a precautionary measure after receiving reports of rubber contamination from customers.

The recall covers some ready-to-bake refrigerated cookie dough bars, tubs, and tubes sold in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Products affected feature batch codes that begin with 9189 through batch codes that begin with 9295. These four digits follow the "use or freeze-by" date and come before the number 5753.
