Neon Releases Teaser Poster for Origin

Neon has shared the first teaser poster for Origin, the latest film from Ava DuVernay.

Starring Academy Award nominee Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, the film is an adaptation of Isabel Wilkerson's New York Times Bestseller, Caste: The Origins of our Discontents.

Origin explores the mystery of history, the wonders of romance and a fight for our future. While investigating the global phenomenon of caste and its dark influence on society, a journalist faces unfathomable loss and uncovers the beauty of love and human resilience.

Jon Bernthal, Niecy Nash-Betts, Emily Yancy, Finn Wittrock, Victoria Pedretti, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Isha Carlos Blaaker, Vera Farmiga, Audra McDonald, Connie Nielsen, Blair Underwood, Nick Offerman, Stephanie March and Myles Frost also star.

Origin also features music from Kris Bowers and an original song by Stan Walker.

Origin will have a one week exclusive engagement in NY and LA on December 8 before screening in theaters in select cities on January 19.
