Neil Patrick Harris Shares Perfectly Posed Photos From Mexican Getaway with His Kids

The actor spent spring break week with his and David Burtka's twins, Harper and Gideon.

Neil Patrick Harris is taking advantage of school vacation this week to spend a little extra time with his kids.

The actor and father of two spent time in sunny Mexico alongside the 12-year-old twins he shares with husband David Burtka: Harper Grace and Gideon Scott.

In a series of wholesome new photos shared to Instagram on Friday, April 21, the How I Met Your Mother alum gave his followers a glimpse into their idyllic getaway in Mexico, specifically at the Banyan Tree Mayakoba Resort & Spa.

In true NPH fashion, the 49-year-old entertainer could be seen smiling with his two kiddos and posing for comically staged snapshots, including one pic of the trio sipping on frozen coconut drinks as they all put on very serious faces for the camera.

In another shot, they appeared to be posing in some sort of underground waterfall spa area, while lining up for the camera in a cryptic—yet goofy—way.

Other slides showed the family on a boat, which Harper and Gideon jumped off of in a later video.

"Spring Break Week 2 in Mexico!" Harris captioned the array of pics. "The kids and I sipped, spa’d, sunned and swam at Mayakoba Banyan Tree - the perfect respite before heading back to school/work. Thanks @banyantreemayakoba for making everyone and everything feel special."

He concluded his message by adding, "¡Nos lo pasamos de increíble!" which translates to, "We had an amazing time!"

Harris' post with his kiddos comes just after his debut performance in Broadway's Peter Pan Goes Wrong on April 11, for which he joins the cast through Sunday, April 30, suggesting that the photos are likely a couple of weeks old, but they aren't any less fun!
