Neighborhood Alliance to hold forum for first-time homebuyers Thursday
The Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliance will hold a session for first-time homebuyers at 6 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2815 Old Hartford Road
The event will include speakers from the city's Community Development department, a real estate agent and a home insurance agent. The focus will be on educating potential homebuyers about issues related to purchasing a home, such as credit and budgeting, mortgages, finding a home, home inspections, insurance, titles and closing and resources available to qualified home buyers, such as down payment assistance.
The event is free and snacks will be provided.
