We're less than a month out from the NCIS season 21 premiere, and Wilmer Valderrama is here to give folks an exciting update about the show.

In a post uploaded on Instagram on January 2, the actor shocked his followers when he gave them a first look at what's to come from the hit CBS drama. As Wilmer shared a 30-second video of clips, he revealed that NCIS season 21 is set to premiere on Monday, February 12 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. What's more, he disclosed that fans will get some answers after a nail-biting season 20 finale cliffhanger in May 2023.

"February 12, #NCIS will return with part two of our finale!" he wrote on January 2. "There will be blood … 🫣🤫🫢."

When fans saw the That '70s Show alum delivered an exciting update about NCIS season 21, they immediately rushed to the comments with words of excitement.

"My FAVORITE show. I can't wait!" one person exclaimed on Instagram. "The best thing that will happen this year 🔥😍," another declared. "Let’s go!! I’m excited to see the new season 😃 @wilmervalderrama," a different follower added.

As fans may remember, NCIS season 20 delivered quite a surprise for Wilmer's character, Special Agent Nick Torres. After spending the end of the season undercover in prison, the finale ends with him visiting a man's house, who he previously saw speaking to an inmate. We quickly learn there's a connection there, and not a good one, as he tells the man he's ready to "watch you die."

What's more, when Wilmer spoke about the new season at the 2024 Golden Globes, he told Entertainment Tonight fans will be shocked by what the upcoming installment will bring.

"Because we're doing 10 and not your conventional 22, we've decided to have a little bit more fun with the new generation of streaming content and really have our show feel like something you have to watch all 10 together," he explained at the time. "We're gonna try to make sure that every time an episode ends, you know, something in that episode is gonna carry over and we're gonna try because I think it's time for producers to evolve and the future of content and how it's being consumed... I'm really proud of what we're doing."
