It seems we weren't the only ones to have a crush on Thackery Binx.

We're ready to run amok, amok, amok over this confession.

Sean Murray, who is best known for his work as Special Agent Timothy McGee on NCIS, first broke hearts as the live-action Thackery Binx in 1993's Hocus Pocus. While we were certainly guilty of swooning over Murray's portrayal of the Puritan-age teen, it seems the character had an unexpected affect on someone closer to home: His stepsister Troian Bellisario.

As Murray told Entertainment Weekly, when he first met Bellisario—his mother Vivienne Murray married Donald P. Bellisario in 1998—the Pretty Little Liars alum "was acting a little weird around [him]."

He continued, "She then told me years later it was because when she was a kid, she had seen Hocus Pocus and had a crush on me and she was trying to work that out."

Though it still cracks Murray up to be considered a '90s heartthrob, he confessed, "That has been brought up to me a couple of times."

Unfortunately for fans of Murray, the 45-year-old actor wasn't featured in the sequel, Hocus Pocus 2, which starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy alongside a new young cast.

Murray understands why he wasn't brought back, however, as he played the live action version of the teen-turned-cat Thackery Binx. "To me, Hocus Pocus is really about those three women, those three witches," he added. "It actually makes total sense to me that you would have a newer group with the witches and not necessarily from the original group. You know, we're all old and wrinkled now. Who wants to see us?"

Omri Katz, who played Max Dennison in the original flick, wasn't necessarily as understanding. "I would have loved to be involved," he told EW in August. "I feel bad for the original fan base saying we aren't because I'm sure they wanted to see us reprise our roles."
