'NCIS' Star Daniela Ruah Shares Sweet Birthday Tribute to Husband

Daniela Ruah took to Instagram on Monday to wish husband David Paul Olsen a happy birthday.

Daniela Ruah is starting off the new year with a loving message for her husband.

David Paul Olsen—who Ruah wed in 2014—rang in his 47th birthday on Monday, Jan. 2, prompting a celebratory post from the NCIS: Los Angeles actress on social media.

Ruah, 39, took to Instagram to share a set of photos featuring her hubby in honor of his big day, including one shot of him snowboarding as he stood in all of his gear at the top of a scenic snowy mountain. The post also featured a much warmer snap of Olsen walking across a beachside boardwalk while Ruah smiled and captured a sunny selfie.

"In this family we start the year by celebrating my forever and ever," Ruah began the caption of Monday's post. "My jack of all trades, my life partner, my all."

Ruah and Olsen—who initially met on set of the CBS crime series—have been married for eight years, and are parents to two children: River Isaac Ruah Olsen, 9, and Sierra Esther Ruah Olsen, 6. 

"The kids and I love you endlessly...Happy birthday fofinho," she concluded her Instagram caption, while also copying the sweet message in Portuguese.

She also gave a glimpse into her family's birthday celebration for Olsen on her Instagram Story, explaining that the timing of his big day coming after the holidays means having a make-do cake with leftover supplies. 

"When Dave's birthday is right after: Thanksgiving, wife's birthday, Hannukah, Christmas, son's birthday & New Years...You get left over cake and lego candles 🤣" she wrote alongside a snap of a half-eaten chocolate cake with two lego candles.

What a way to kick off 2023!
