'NCIS' Star Daniela Ruah Reflects on End of the School Year With Snap of Kids

NCIS: Los Angeles' Daniela Ruah was in a reflective mood when her little ones celebrated their last day of school.

In an Instagram post, she shared a photo of her children, River and Sierra, holding up blackboards that read "Last Day of 3rd Grade" and "Last Day of 1st Grade," written in colorful chalk. The kids were accompanied by one of their dogs, making the picture extra adorable.

"And just like that…I have a 2nd grader and a 4th grader," she wrote in the caption. "All I have to say is: I'm proud of my son and daughter. I'm proud of how they navigated academics, sports, friends, mistakes and victories…We feel so lucky ♥️ And eternally grateful to their teachers and coaches for being amazing 🙏🏼 And now…Portugal let’s gooooo!"

She then included the Portuguese translation of her caption, and used the hashtags "#summer #vacation #lastdayofschool #river #sierra #kids #school #growing #Ice #SwissShepherd #family #proudmama #besties #siblings."

Her fans celebrated River and Sierra's end of the school year, too. "Congrats to your cubs🎉🎉 I wish you and your family safe travels and an amazing and beautiful time in Portugal❤," read a comment.

Another wrote, "Congratulations to your children and have fun in Portugal❤️❤️❤️."

Earlier in the year, Ruah shared a photo of her kids peacefully sleeping on her bed, as well as a photo River took of his parents. She wrote, "After date night with my hubby to celebrate 12 years together, I woke up to this. The doodles we made. Our everythings. Also Riv took the photo of us: dad was about to smile and my eyes are closed. Good one bud."
