'NCIS: Los Angeles' Star Daniela Ruah Just Cut Off All Her Hair

• The NCIS: Los Angeles star documented the change on social media, and explained why she decided on the dramatic chop.

Daniela Ruah, is that you!?

The NCIS: Los Angeles star has had long hair for as long as we can remember. In fact, the last photo evidence we have of Daniela with a shorter style was from when she was 15! But the actress just revealed that she’s parted ways with her long flowing locks.

Daniela posted a series of before-and-after pictures on Instagram, where she eventually debuted a new super-short crop. The chin-length bob obviously looks incredible on her, but we still can’t believe how much she cut!

Not that she needs a reason for a hair refresh, but she did actually go into detail about what led her to the drastic change.

“First a couple of pics for when I miss my hair… and then the chopping of the mane begins!” she wrote. “I needed a change and I’m so happy to be donating my hair!” She also thanked her stylists, Celine and Gina, for helping her make the transition.

Many fans responded saying she looked “amazing,” and Daniela had a few famous friends speak out as well. Co-star Renee Felice Smith left her a bunch of heart emojis, while Barrett Foa wrote, “Babes! I love it!” Sarah Wright, her sister-in-law and wife to on-screen husband Eric Christian Olsen, commented, “OHHHH MYYYYYYY GARSH!!!!”

We hope her NCIS: LA character Kensi shows off the new ‘do soon—we imagine this is way more managable for all that crime fighting.
